The first office building of the Dürer Park has reached its structural completion.
A significant milestone has been reached in the Dürer Park development located next to the City Park: the first office building has reached its highest point.
On the site, an average of 300 people work daily, and up to the point of achieving the structural completion, the construction used 4048 tons of reinforcing steel and nearly 35,000 cubic meters of concrete.
Further key figures of the construction include:
- 27,000 square meters of raised floor,
- 9000 meters of lamella,
- 19 elevators,
- 16,100 square meters of facade glass area.
Farkas Norbert, the technical director of Market Építő Zrt., mentioned among the challenges of the construction process the design of the ground floor, with its large height difference of nearly 6 meters, which required a special solution using formwork systems designed specifically for this level difference. He also added that the construction of the parapet consoles on the facade posed a significant technical challenge. "On the thermal bridge-breaking elements, parapet consoles of more than two meters in projection had to be made from monolithic reinforced concrete – these will be equipped with the lamellas representing the defining elements of the facade," explained the leader.
The construction of the office building is carried out through true teamwork involving subsidiaries of Market: OKM Kft. prepared the foundation, Vilati Szerelő Zrt. ensures lightning protection, Moratus Szerkezetépítő Kft. built the structure, and Valép Padló Kft. prepared the floor concrete.
